Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th May 2017King George’s Hall, Blackburn
After the success of the first Festival of Making, we are delighted that this major event will be returning to Blackburn, Lancashire on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May 2018.
As a key feature of the Festival, the Makers Market will return to King Georges Hall with a wide range of stalls showing and selling work by fabulous artists, designers and makers.
In 2017 the event attracted crowds of over 30,000 across the weekend with a vibrant programme of art, science, digital and craft experiences attracting significant national media attention.
The Makers Market is a collaboration between Festival producers, Festival of Making CIC and guest curators, Hopeful & Glorious to celebrate and spotlight art, craft and design from across the region.
